JEE Main 2014 (Joint Entrance Exam Main 2014) will be conducted for the admission to the undergraduate programs at NIT’s, IIT’s , other Central Govt. aided Institutes, State Govt. institutes and several other private institutes of India that accepts the scores of JEE Main Exam. JEE Main will be an eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced Exam for the candidates willing to take admission to the undergraduate courses of Top IIT’s of India.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the JEE Main every year since 2013 (formerly known as AIEEE). In this line CBSE is going to conduct JEE Main 2014 for which
 the online application will start from 15 November 2013 in the official website of jeemain.

Eligibility for JEE Main 2014

Officially the notification has no been published yet for the JEE Main 2014 but according to the last year the eligibility is as follows:

  • Candidate must have passed the Intermediate (12th) exam or equivalent to appear for the exam.

  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam may also apply for the JEE Main 2014.

Mode of JEE Main 2014



The Paper-I of JEE main will be conducted in two separate modes, offline (Pen and Paper based Exam) and Online (Computer Based Exam). Paper-II of JEE Main Exam will be only pen and paper based.



It depends totally on the candidates weather they are going for Paper-I and Paper-II.
