Pay Scale :
First Post : Rs 10,300-34,800+4800 (Grade Pay) Initial: Rs.18, 250/- + Allowances.

Second Post : Rs 10,300-34,800++3200 (Gr. Pay) Initial : Rs.13,500/- + Allowances.

Eligibility Criteria




  • JE - Should possess Diploma in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. (OR) Degree in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.



  • JDM – Should possess Certificate in Civil Draftsman by State Board of Technical Education. (OR) Diploma/Degree in Architecture.

Age Limit : Candidates age limit should be 18 to 38 years for General; 18 to 43 years for SC/BC; 18 to 42 years for Widows, Divorcees and certain other categories of women; 18 to 45 years for Government Service candidates.

Application Fee : 


Application fee Rs.750/- for SC candidates and Rs.1,000/- for All others. This will be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of DWSSP-2013, Thapar University, payable at Patiala.

(ii)  Specified self/public authority-attested documents (particularly for those claiming any sort of reservation)

Hard Copies should be submitted by Registered Post/Courier at In-charge, DWSSP-Cell, Thapar University, Patiala-147004 (Punjab) on or before 10 December 2013.
