The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test ( Maharashtra TET) 2013 examination result announced on or before February 22nd, 2014 at www.mahatet.in and www.mahatet.info. Maharashtra TET 2013 Conducted by The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) and will be announce the results online this week. As many as 7.18 lakh candidates appeared for the exam across the state. The paper I was for candidates aspiring for primary teachers’ posts whereas paper II was for candidates aspiring for the post of secondary teacher. Each paper carried 150 marks and every question carried one mark. Earlier, the council had announced a cut-off of 90 marks for open category and 83 marks for reserved category.
The Urdu medium candidates faced the maximum number of problems and several errors were reported in the question paper. As a result, the council has to reassess the Urdu papers that added to the delay. Over six lakh candidates appeared for the paper. The number is huge and many students made some mistakes while writing the seat numbers and other such small things. The moderators had to correct such mistakes which also accounted for the delay.
The official announcement of the date of the results will be on February 22nd, or before. The results will be announced online and candidates will be able to enter their seat number and see the subject-wise marks. Further details regarding the results will be announced soon. Earlier, the state council had cancelled as many as 38 questions from the test that was held on December 15, 2013. The council, which also found that options to 19 other questions were wrong, revised the cut-off which would also be announced along with the results.
