CTET Results 2014

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) announced on or before March 21st, 2014 at http://cbseresults.nic.in. CTET Results 2014 Feb at http://cbseresults.nic.in. The CTET-FEB 2014 Examination was held on Feb 16th, 2014 (Sunday) throughout the country and abroad. Approximately 8.26 lakh candidates were registered for either Paper-I or/and Paper-II. As per the schedule of the CTET-FEB 2014, the Board is to declare the Examination Result on or before March 21st, 2014.

About 10 per cent of the 8.26 lakh candidates who appeared for the test held in July. This is the highest pass percentage among the four CTET’s held so far by CBSE across the country. In the November 2012 test, the pass percentage was just about one per cent. Though welcoming the increase in the pass percentage this time around, schools and educationists in the city say there is still a long way to go. Passing CTET, a qualifying examination has been made mandatory for appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII in Central government schools such as the Kendriya Vidyalayas, after the RTE Act, 2009 came into effect. Candidates who cleared the examination, attributed their performance to the extension in time from 1.3 to 2.3 hours.

The Board, in order to ensure complete transparency in examination process and to bring confidence in the candidates and other stake holders, has decided to upload the images of the OMR Sheets of the candidates along with the information of the languages and subject (Maths & Science or Social Science) attempted by the candidates in Paper-I and/or Paper-II as applicable. The candidates can view their details and OMR Sheet on the CBSE/CTET website and in case of any discrepancy with respect to the particulars filled in the OMR Sheet, may bring to the notice of Board latest by 5.00 PM on March 17th, 2014 for consideration of the Board on e-mail ID ctet@cbse.gov.in only. No representation will be entertained in this regard thereafter.

The Board, thereafter will be uploading the Answer Key on the CBSE/CTET website. In case of any discrepancy relating to question/incorrect answer keys, if any, the same should be brought into the notice of the Assistant Secretary(CTET) with documentary proof alongwith solution of the question on our mail ID ctet@cbse.gov.in latest by 5.00 PM on March 19th, 2014 for CBSE’s consideration. The representations received after the stipulated time and date or without any documentary/textual support, shall not be entertained.
