Gujarat Board SSC Result 2014

Total 9.75 lakh students took the SSC exam, while 5.08 lakh students appeared for the HSC general stream exam and 1.17 lakh for the HSC science stream exam. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) officials said that the SSC exams were held at 780 centres, while the general stream exams in 367, and science stream in 110.



The evaluation work of the recently concluded class X and XII examinations began on March 26th. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has made elaborate arrangements to ensure timely publication of results. 






The Gujarat SSC board evaluation of the SSC answer sheets began at 109 centres and over 12,000 teachers are involved in the exercise. That on the first two days, the language papers were assessed. Assessment of other subjects will begin from March 28th, 2014. The board hopes to complete the assessment work of class X by April 15, 2014. The assessment of class XII answer sheets began at 150 centres and more than 5,500 teachers have been assigned the job. The board hopes to complete the work by April 12, 2014.
