Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited Graduate Trainee Complete Selection Process was released by the Dept of ONGC, those who are having the GATE2015 Score/qualified in gate they only attend for selection process & need to download their ONGC Graduate Trainee Complete Selection Process from its official website www.ongcindia.com& the complete selection process is as below. ONGC, a “Maharatna” Public Sector Enterprise, and India’s flagship energy major is engaged in Exploration and Production of Oil and Gas in India and abroad.


Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited is going to recruit the 745 Graduate Trainee Posts in their dept only on the basis of GATE 2015& also others like Interview, Academic marks. This ONGC Graduate Trainee posts selection is selected on the basis of their GATE – 2015 Score, Interview, Academic marks. For this recruitment Dept of ONGC announced total marks for ONGC Graduate Trainee Exam via GATE 2015 is 100 marks & they are divided/distributed as below

Total marks : 100 marks

* The marks given to the GATE – 2015 Score:- 60 marks

* The marks given to the Interview:   15 marks

* The marks given to the Qualification/ Academic marks:  20 marks among these 25 marks

1) 20 marks for – Essential

2) 5 marks for – the additional in-line higher Qualification


1.For this ONGC Graduate Trainee posts the candidates must required to apply & appear in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering/GATE 2015.

2. GATE 2015 online application process will be start from 01/09/2014 to01/10/2014

3. GATE Exam 2015 scheduled to be held on 31/01/2015 to 14/02/2015 on Sundays& Saturdays for different subjects/disciplines candidates need to appear to exam for their respective subject on the designed date.

4. GATE – 2015 Score as subject wise is considered for ONGC short listed candidates for further process like personal interview.

5. Candidates call for interview 1:5 ratio for each post as per merit list.


*****Only GATE – 2015 Score/ the candidates those who are qualified in the GATE – 2015 are eligible for applying the ONGC Graduate Trainee Recruitment. GATE – 2014 Score/ any other previous scores are not valid& they need not to apply if they apply their applications are rejected/not valid.
